Yeah, I find it very useful. Great in niff and churchyard, though you can't receive heals or be resurrected. It also nullifies or greatly reduces (not sure) poison attacks, so I believe it would be nice against sins when they use poison. I don't really pvp though so I'm not too sure if that would make you more vulnerable to something else they might use.
